unemployment saga: 5:2

i got a phone call
from the twc
when i was asleep
and the number he said to call back
was an automated we can't help you number
but
i called him back on the number he called me
and i left a message
and he called me back

i answered questions
they are going to call my employer
and i should hear something tuesday

i asked if it was likely that the severance
would need to get used up
before the unemployment would start
and he said
he didn't think so
he thought it would only affect the week that
i received the severance

so
i was thinking
i probably wouldn't get money
but
maybe i will
