7. Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
when i was a kid, i was sure i was going to be shot. but a few years ago i had a premonition that i was gonna die alone in the desert so idk.
8. Name three things you and your partner appear to have in common.
now i think this is supposed to be with someone you just met-- like superficial things. i'm not sure i can think of three things that i would immediately say we had in common. mood things maybe. funny, sarcastic, expressive.
9. For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
well, i would say you, but that's against the rules. so, let me think a moment. my imagination. and maybe that should really be the answer anyway. what would i be without my imagination?
10. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?
this is a completely unfair question. i couldn't really want anything to be different because then i would be different. it makes me sad. i don't want to do this one.
11. Take four minutes and tell your partner your life story in as much detail as possible.
i was born in houston in 67. i grew up in the montrose, spring branch, and old bellaire. when i was a kid my favorite color was red when i was in high school it was purple, then black. recently it has been orange and very recently it seems to be changing to yellow. i went to hspva and then university of houston. i paint, but not recently. i write, but i struggle to figure it out. i ran a coffee shop. i ran out of time.
12. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
i would like to be able to spin straw to gold. i'm only kind of kidding. ok. the unshakable belief that i can make enough money to support myself without a job.
