poem: they don't teach evolution 4:23

perhaps i should be
my brother's keeper
but my brother is cain
he's coming right at me
i think he's insane

the emperor has no clothes
he's fat and he's orange
i just want to look away
hope for the future
pretend it's okay

but he won't stop spinning
the spin of the drain
and then re-spin the spun
with the craziest non-sense
since hist'ry begun

so get the bleach cain
go get the bleach
no no more for you
(i savor that speech)
just save your own life
(don't worry 'bout mine)
here have a spoon
let your little light shine

xxx

i hated to do it
to "help" him that way
maybe i'm just as bad
yeah that's what you'll say
and in final reckoning say i'm the liar
but sometimes life be like that
and the bed was on fire
