I see HER answering something
outside the ORDINARY fourteen year old
yet SWEET
innocent INTENSE
he sees she's NOT ordinary
the ATTRACTION to innocence
it made me think of that OKLAHOMA sunflower
she was smart too
BUT
it was her ESSENCE somehow
AND
I can remember BEING a young woman
or GIRL really
who was RARELY spoken to in a way
that CALLED FORTH anything
& at that AGE
with all that BUILT UP
I can ONLY imagine
I THINK she HAD loved him
for like her practically ENTIRE life
& she WANTED him
I KNOW what she means
about the EYES*
I THINK she KNEW
he WASN'T going to see HER anymore
because SHE would be CHANGED
SHE was LOOKING for it
& she SAW it
