so we'd WORKED up to more of a it is what it is
BUT
AFTER daddy married deborah
& kidnapped me

& FREAKED me OUT pretty good
JUST with deborah now
because I had to
GET USED to
my NEW
mommy
WELL
I wasn't wanting my old mommy
not THEN
you could KEEP her
BUT
as deborah tried to
UNDO
whatever training or personality or whatever it was that made me SO upity
AND
as ann began a
CAMPAIGN
to win me from my father
the balance
over the course of about
FIVE years
SHIFTED
& by the time I was writing papers
in the third grade
she was
my REAL mommy
