maybe they got divorced

QUOTE -- you HAD to get married if you wanted to have SEX
I think this sounds KINDA ridiculous
as a thing to say
BECAUSE
while that MIGHT be a reason to get married in general, it is surely not WHY you marry a
SPECIFIC person
ANYWAY
he went off
& realized there were WOMEN there
& he was there
& she was not
SO
he divorced her
SHE made it SOUND like
she didn't even REALLY KNOW him
I guess he was the best looking guy that was
WILLING
my mom & dad
their romantic story was
HE was working at a fabric store
SHE was in buying fabric*
*she made her own clothes
SHE put her phone number on the check
& he wrote it down
& CALLED her
he LIKED that SHE was SMART
& studying to be a teacher
& SHE liked
his FLASHING brown eyes
