I am SO glad
I didn't know she spent time
with Lucia
I couldn't go
SO MANY places
because I didn't want to run into deborah
it super cramped my
houston feminism
access
BUT
I was VERY heavy into
LUCIA'S garden
all through the eighties
and early nineties
& I NEVER
saw her or had to hear her name
not once
however
Lucia was a beloved person in both
the women's community
& the spirituality
community
& she's
DEAD
SO cannot VERIFY deborah's STORY
& I never went to the moon rituals
so she may have gone there
BUT
it would be
ENTIRELY consistent with her personality
to just SAY it
without it necessarily being true
I remember
when I started working
at Starbucks
in river oaks
Lucia came by there
& I was KINDA
embarrassed to be a barista
BUT
she recognized me
& was really
NICE
about it all SOMEHOW I don't remember what she did I just had anxiety that
she would be
disillusioned with me
BUT
I didn't really understand
that MOST people
GET that
JOB =/= human worth
she was a NUN
& her husband was a priest
& they LEFT together
SHE was GREAT
I took a workshop with her
& I didn't DO much of THAT
& we separated into groups
which I ALSO don't enjoy
to present
CYCLES of the year
I couldn't do autumn
which is what I WANTED
because everyone wanted autumn
SO
I had to do WINTER
because the extra autumns were put in birthday
& I was NOT super happy about it
AND
THEN
everyone in my group
FLAKED
& I had to do the whole thing by myself
which WORKED great for me
& SHE was really
GREAT
I really liked her
that I still have*
*on my become transcendental alter
I think lucia turned me on to alters in the first place
