the Texas Renaissance festival
George, the guy who owned it
he got it incorporated as a town
so he could charge sales tax
& WHATNOT
to make improvements
& he let some of the artists live there
in their booths as residents
SO
I MEAN
it's NOT completely
unprecedented
BUT
NOT
ONE festival
LIKE a cyclical thing
MAYBE one is like a retreat workshop
with community building skills
OR maybe
that goes on apart from the festivals
I don't know
it wouldn't be EASY
is it INTERESTING ENOUGH to be
SERIOUSLY considered
it's ideally
self-sustaining off grid
do people want THAT
