because there are things
that were newer
that aren't
STILL

I'm thinking about buying a piece of furniture
and that's NOT something
I do lightly
THIS table
was in my mother's
KITCHEN
in the second story apartment
than I could look up at
coming out of the
BARS
if you still lived there
you'd be HOME NOW it was ALWAYS fun
to think THAT
BUT
I had NEVER lived there
my mom lived there
I'd been in it
& it was a cool KITCHEN
SUNNY maybe
the FUNNY thing
is I'm not SURE
I've ACCESSED the memory
SO MANY times
& I was
SO
YOUNG
the file is corrupted
the highlights reel includes
she trotted me out
for several parties
one I started
a FIRE
the bars
were gay bars
NOT lesbian
BARS
AND one of them was
VERY popular
literally RIGHT across the street called
HEAVEN
at one point they had male strippers
there was another bar that had
DANCE music and
LIKE
what I would describe as RAVE lighting
& then question if I KNOW what I'm talking about
it was DARK
there was a LIKE blacklight effect
GLOW STIX--action
STROBING
hypnotic
I KINDA liked
that place
STRANGE
I guess
that was some exception to the
FREAK out
in a CROWD thing
BUT
I wanted to tell you
my FAVORITE bar
doesn't make any sense
EXCEPT
MAYBE it does
my favorite bar
was the MINING company
it was DARK and the LIGHTING was DRAMATIC
there was a VIBE does not begin to cover it
it was MORE than WHAT it WAS
it was a LEATHER bar
I just looked it up
it closed in twenty sixteen
I want to figure out
WHY I liked that place
