SO here's a THING I did

by WAY of a 

CALIBRATION tool 

it MIGHT not WORK 

BACKSTORY 

my mom has had a studio for years

it USED to be

in a different location 

SO

BEFORE she put everything in storage 

she wanted to 

MAKE sure 

I had some of her work

JUST in CASE 

& I mean MAYBE 

or maybe she wanted to have fewer things to 

MOVE

because MOST of the TIMES 

I've ASKED for 

ANY of her

ART

she would be all LIKE 

UMM, sure

BUT 

NOW is a BAD TIME for you to TAKE it

BUT then 

there NEVER was

a ME

GETTING 

the painting 

FURTHER BACKGROUND 

one time my mom & I went to

BLUEBIRD CIRCLE 

&

I bought this

WATERCOLOR she told me she thought was UGLY 

I was walking around with it

when she told me it was

UGLY

I had replaced the BIG SUR triptic

because the nakedness 

FELT

uncomfortable 

&

it's been there ten years an' all

I replaced it with 

the UGLY painting --  which in actuality is a tourist watercolor from Acapulco with a stand

selling stuffed animals 

OR pinatas 

SWEET 

FACE

bunny

BUT 

I decided I didn't really like it in that spot

AND

I replaced it with 

a painting I got from my mom

I think she did it in a class

BUT 

there's ALL that

BUT 

ALSO

is it flowers and grass

OR WAVES

is the frame silver

OR silver and gold

ALSO

on the other wall

i put THIS, which is also one of those paintings 

she probably did THIS in a workshop

it's yupo paper

it's a SLICK surface

rather

NONabsorbant pooling the

I THINK it's liquid INK

neither of these

is her style

particularly and I like them both VERY MUCH
