I needed to get
ALONE
I KNEW it was likely
that i'd suck
& I MEAN
most of those people kinda suck
BUT
I was not prepared to be
second
that kinda threw me
& I was completely unprepared for
HOW disorienting
the bright lights in my eyes would be
BUT
the funniest thing
the host for the evening
was like
HEY most people don't even TRY
owie owie owie
WHATEVER
MORE RELATABLE
& there was almost no one there
SO
I don't know if that was better
or WORSE
NOT used to using a mic
BUT I didn't feel scared
so much as
DISORIENTED
BUT
I guess I DID suck
