so she HATES danish modern

& this table is danish modern
BUT
she NEEDED a table
& THIS one
ONLY had
THREE
of its four chairs
SO
it was on SALE and incidentally
BRIGHT ORANGE
I PAINTED it
& recovered the chairs
in the eighties
BURGUNDY
but over the bright orange
it's LIKE
HOT BURGUNDY
I've THOUGHT about
doing some sort
of metal leafing over it
I've THOUGHT about
trying to do a dark wood finish
this table
I LOVE
I lost the chairs
when I got these chairs
made by a woodworker
at SURROUNDINGS
in the late nineties
I used to shop there a lot
BUT
I didn't BUY much
I LOVE these chairs
they don't
MATCH at all
which is KINDA a
TREND
NOW
but was NOT when I got it
& right NOW I've got
ONE
at my desk
