i dreamed
about
stacks of wine
and
some
brilliant idea that i had to give kids a tree to decorate

there was something about driving fast as well, i think

before i went to bed
i kept getting this desire
to write to you about meeting at the campfire
but then there was a bunch of cowboy stuff too
and probably i should write a story about it
but it isn't that well formed
and besides
i need to get it down

i was dressed in those big woolly chaps
and
somehow it was almost like a scene out of blazing saddles
the idea
that i was a girl
but i was dressed like a boy
which isn't unusual or funny in any way
except those big woolly chaps
