and the interviewer
was rude
kept expecting you
to be
busting in and trying to sell something

which
actually
is what most people do do when they're being interviewed
so that would not have been
inappropriate
but you didn't

you were charming and lovely

and there was some more
I can't remember
but
nothing with us personally interacting

then
my mother had somehow screwed me
in a real estate deal
and I had to live
in this house
where I felt radically unsafe
and I was thinking about getting a guard dog
