out on the plain

i was on a large grassy plain
graising we're quantities of magical animals
i stood in an open spot
feet grounding me to the earth
i called silently
two beasts moved slowly to me
a lithe white horse
and a giant bird
it was like a duck in shape
but the size of a pony
